Episode 35: Chat with Mike Clelland, author of ‘The Messengers’ 🦉🛸👽

I chat with Mike Clelland, researcher of the mysterious connections between owls, synchronicities and UFOs, from ancient times to the present day.  His first book, The Messengers (2015), details his personal journey and provides a collection of first-hand accounts of contact encounters. 

Mike shares his own personal experiences with me, including a childhood memory of a UFO sighting and a lost-time event.  Later, a series of synchronistic incidents involving owls, propelled him on a course of research into the meaning of these powerful connections.  His story resonates deeply with extraordinary experiencers of all kinds.

During our chat I shared my own synchronistic owl experience with Mike.

Mike’s first book, The Messengers: Owls, Synchronicity and UFO contact, is an exploration of the mysterious connection between owls and UFOs, in ancient myths and the present day contact experiences. It’s also a an odyssey of self-discovery as the author grapples with his own encounters. What plays out is a story of transformation with the owl at the heart of the journey.



His second book, Stories from The Messengers provides further exploration into the connection between owls and UFOs, both symbolic and literal. The book reads like a collection of short stories, each chapter telling a deeply personal story. The ancient folklore of the owl is still with us—and it’s still changing people’s lives. 

Hidden Experience, the third book is about the most difficult time of Mike’s life as the experiences were happening, which were captured on a blog.

Martin Brofman and The Body Mirror System

Martin Brofman (PhD) a former Wall Street computer expert and a student of psychology and comparative religion, was a renowned healer and founder of the Brofman Foundation for the Advancement of Healing. He developed a special healing approach, the Body Mirror System, after he releasing himself of a terminal illness which traditional medicine had considered hopeless – untreatable.

During his own healing process, he learned much about the Body Mind Interface, the relationship between the body and the consciousness, and how it works. He then developed a model in order to clarify these ideas for himself, as well as to provide a vehicle for teaching them easily and quickly to others. He helped many people over his more than 30 years in practice. 

Martin was a warm, funny and wise friend and I’m just so grateful to him for opening me and many others to new ways of seeing and experiencing the world. I highly recommend his book, ‘Anything Can Be Healed’.
